Japanese culture(Yuki Ishimaru)

Hello,everyone.
I want to introduce "TAKOYAKI".
It is a local cuisine of Japan.
It was originated in Osaka.
Osaka is located in the west of japan.
TAKOYAKI is said to be the taste of Mom’s cooking in Osaka.

TAKO means octopus.
Takoyaki is called the Octopus ball in English.
It is made of wheat dough,baked round with octopus.
A special dish maker is used to bake it.(It called "TAKOKAKIKI".)

After it is baked, a bamboo skewer is used to reshape it.
To see the work of a craftsman it is very interesting.

Seasoning is done with mayonnaise and mumps source.
A green laver and dried bonito is also applied.
You can use a toothpick when you eat it.

It is also sold in the stalls of the festival.
This is one of my favorite Japanese food in Japan.
